These are bought to order and can generally be supplied next day - Please note that due to the expense involved in restocking we will generally require full payment upon order. We do offer a fit and clean service.

CONSIDERATIONS PRIOR TO VIDEO PROJECTOR LAMP REPLACEMENT:
We generally advise customers to consider lamp replacement carefully as in some cases it is not a worthwhile expenditure, this will depend upon the features of model in question. A fresh lamp will typically cost in the region of £150 - £250, whereas a new GOOD quality XGA 2200 lumen projector with a 3 year warranty will cost around £380 (there are of course cheaper models available). Often projectors which require a replacment bulb are fairly redundant in terms of image quality & features, plus of course size / weight when compared to newer models. For this reason it can make more sense to replace the unit. This of course will depend upon the age and features of your projector. We will be happy to advise if required.

PROJECTOR LAMPS: BLOWN OR NOT:
Projector lamps do not have filament lamps which means that they do not blow like a conventional lightbulb, although a major catastophe can force them to blow. If this is the case then the malfunction which caused the lamp to blow must be fixed prior to fitting a new lamp. Some makes/models of projector shutown the lamp after it reaches what the projector considers to be the lamplife, there will be a service code to asertain whether this is the case - A new lamp will fix the problem. In general usage a lamps will fade away, gradually losing brightness. A replacement will fix this problem too although often the unit will not be like new due to dirt accumulating through the optics, etc.

DIAMOND LAMPS: You will notice that some models have an option for a Diamond Lamp. These are a replacments lamps which are not manufactured by the original projector manufacturer. Pricing is typically 10 - 15% lower.
