The Cambridge Sound Management QT-HCE Patient Privacy sound masking system is designed for doctors surgeries waiting rooms and consultation rooms and other medical room applications.

The control panel is fitted inside the room to enable the system to be switched on and off easily and an illuminated sign provides clear indication to the occupants that the system is in use. An additional sign is located outside the room to instill confidence upon entering the room that the conversation will not be overheard.

Emitters are fitted outside the room to emit a professionally engineered low level background sound into the immediate area making the conversations and speech from inside the room less intelligible.

The system is an ideal retrofit solution to speech privacy.

Eight emitters are included with this system for 'out of the box' protection for a space of up to 800 square feet with the option to extend the system with the addition of further emitters.

This energy efficient system uses just 7 watts of power.

The QTHCE Patient Privacy kit comprises:

• One wall-mounted control module
• One 4-gang adaptor plate for control module (or EU/UK 3-gang box)
• Two automatically lighted privacy signs
• Two 1-gang adaptor plates for privacy signs
• Two 50 ft (15.2 m) plenum-rated cables for privacy signs
• One power supply
• Eight Qt Emitters
• Seven 16 ft (4.8 m) audio cables
• One 50 ft (15.2 m) homerun audio cable
• One hole saw
